Ukraine has had a troublesome time due to the mostly outdated Constitution of the country. In order to find solutions to the matters and the problems that the country is faced with, a few institutions collaborated and hosted a workshop in the Ukranian capital of Kiev on the 10th July.
There were many other legal experts at the workshop. The goal of the event was to gather and discuss some highly significant matters regarding the constitutional future of Ukraine. Up to date, the government of the country operated according to a semi presidential system. This system has been facing a number of challenges. Many of the problems of the country come from the concentration of presidency power, as well as from the legislature electoral system. On top of all that, the country has political parties that are on the weaker side, and that makes it more difficult for the country to experience strong and prosperous leadership.
Renowned people from some very notable institutions were present at the workshop such as Prof. Thomas Sidelius, Mr. Sergyi Holovatyi, Mr. Viktor Musiaka, and much more. The institutions which have a representative expert at the Kiev workshop included the International IDEA Sumit Bisarya, Human Rights, the Swedish Dalarna University, as well as a few more.
