It can safely be assumed that Sujit Choudhry is among those people who wants to see a constitutional change in the way things are done.
Sujit Choudhry, who is the founder and director for the Center for Constitutional Transitions, has made himself known as a staunch supporter for any type of constitutional change in democratic societies. As a scholar of constitutional law, Choudhry has stood upon the belief that some form of change in the political climate is necessary, perhaps now more than ever.
When asked about his views on constitutional change, Choudhry stated that the people of America could be facing their biggest challenge to liberal democratic constitutionalism to date, the most since the Second World War. He added that American exceptionalism is no longer the shining beacon that it once was in the past, and as a result it should be more open to legal and political analysis. In fact, other countries with democracies of their own are going through similar experiences so it is perfectly necessary to learn from their successes and failures.
